Prayer

Place of Prayer

Prevailing prayer precedes fulfilled promises and revival. Biblical examples include:

· The Jews were called to fast and pray for Esther (Esther 4). This saved them from slaughter.

· Ezra starts a prayer of repentance that is joined in by many of the Jews that had returned to Israel (Ezra 8, 9, 10).

· Prayer of the 120 in the "upper room" preceded God's gift of the Holy Spirit to individual believers that Jesus had promised (Acts 1:14).

Today, as we witness more and larger prayer gatherings (some half million men prayed together in Washington D.C. on October 4, 1997), we can be assured that God will soon move mightily in America.

Let's join the millions who are praying for revival.
