Atheism

A number of years ago Noel Paul Stookey of the group, Peter, Paul and Mary, wrote a song that contained the line, "How can you believe in something you’ve never seen before?" Certainly it is not through argument. To a limited degree, it is through reason. However, like love, one can know the reality of love, but scientific research cannot prove it. Scripture (which you do not accept if you are an atheist) states that God has revealed himself to man in creation through the apostles and prophets and Christ Himself. It takes a great deal of faith to deny the existence of truth. God says His existence is written on the heart of man. Man’s response is there is no God. God says "The fool has said in his heart there is no God." God has given man a free will to choose who we will serve. As Bob Dylan said: "You are going to serve somebody!" God says "Let my will be done in your life." Man says "My will not yours be done!" So when you die, God is going to say "You asked for your will to be done, so I will let you have your way. You would not take my will on earth, so I am not going to let you have you will in eternity.

God will be justified because He has given man what He asked for.
