God's Call to the Healing Rooms Ministry
The Love Lines Healing Rooms is a Christ-centered ministry, providing healing prayer to whosoever would seek healing, be it of body, soul, or spirit. Though the focus is on physical healing, the ultimate goal is for the person to realize or deepen his or her relationship to the Lord. The Healing Rooms are managed by Greg Schurter.

The ministry is based on the belief that the LORD is our Healer (Exodus 15:26). God has accomplished the removal of sickness and pain through Christ Jesus' scourging for us (Isaiah 53:4). His death in place of ours has removed the curse of sin from us (Galatians 3:3), which includes sickness.

All healing has already been accomplished by Him, "By His stripes you were healed (I Peter 2:24). Those ministering in the Healing Rooms are seeking to help the seeker of healing receive the manifestation of that healing through God's presence and grace, according to His Word.

Everything done is based on the Word of God: the words that are prayed and spoken, the laying on of hands (Mark 16:18), agreement in prayer (Matthew 18:19-20; John 13:13-14; I John 5:14-15), the anointing with oil (James 5:14-15), the taking of authority over the powers of darkness (Luke 10:10), binding and loosing (Matthew 16:19).

The Healing Rooms ministry was initially begun by John G. Lake, who, upon returning from a powerful ministry of healing and evangelism in South Africa in 1913 started the first healing rooms in Spokane, WA. He saw them as a neutral site where people of any Christian denomination, or of any religious or non-religious persuasion, could come, be prayed for and receive healing. In the first 5 years of his
