Project Overview
This is the flagship media program for
LoveLines and has been on Minneapolis/St.Paul cable access for many
years. The program airs at least once a week and often more than that.
The program showcases local, national, and international ministries
involved with LoveLines and also takes calls from all over the U.S.
on various topics and current events. The program is hosted by LoveLines
directors Dan and Diane Morstad.
Goals and tasks
Promotion of ministries and on-air counseling
is the primary focus. The next steps are to upgrade the production to
syndication level and also netcast on the internet. Other features may
be added such as on-the-street on-camera interviews. There is also need
for spot and advertising production.
Immediate Tasks:
- Organize financing and
production for national syndication-quality production.
- Arrange syndication distribution channels.
- Enable netcasting hardware and software.
Milestones
- 6/98: Video streaming server plans are
solidified. Netcasting is pending soon.
- 9/98: National platform sought for program.
Production enhancements planned.
- 5/99: Broadcast in Minnesota on Channel
41 commences in addition to cablecast.
- 11/02: Past staff meeting videos available via secure web area
- 5/03: Replay of best TV shows available from the main web site (here)
